Stone Mountain Trip

Last nights trip to Stone Mountain for the Laser light show was a success. Take a look at the photos to see for yourself. They all climbed the rope course, played in the water, ate, and wore very funny hats. For those who missed this meeting the next one is Second Sunday in July at the church. See you there.

Youth Meeting June 10, 2007

Due to our space being used for the yard sale left overs we had our meeting a Ms. June's house. They played in the small pool while the pizza cooked. We they had our lesson "Where do I fit in" using a puzzel. We than went down to the Norris Lake pool and beach and had a blast. Our next meeting is June 30 at 2pm we are going to Stone Mountain.

2pm meet at June’s house we will be returning late 11pm -12 pm depends on when the light show ends and we get out.
Cost 5 dollars each to go toward the trip
Bring extra cash if you want anything not supplied by trip
Bring swim suit
Change of clothes
Towel
Sun lotion
Blanket if you want to sit on something at the show
Drinks (I will have a cooler with ice)
Dinner will be chicken and stuff
We will be staying to see the laser light show
We will be going to the water park first then other attractions

JuneBug Festival

The youth group had a table set up to sell our bracelets and toe rings. We also ran some games for the kids. And, a big thanks to Ms. Diane who set up and ran the dog wash for the youth. We are blessed to have your help and thank you very much for a wonderful job. Pictured above is out table with Ashley and my kids, the big slide which was a hit with the little ones, and then part of the set up for the yard sale.

Getting ready for the JuneBug Festival

Today, Emma, Ms. Denise, and Ms. June worked on the games for the Junebug festival. The youth group bought and is donating the games to the church as our service project this month. We have a football throw, ring toss, and basketball with sound.
