Backyard BASH

Not to sure about you guys, but I had a great time. The photos indicates that you did too. Even the little ones who crashed had a good time on the tramp. Wish I could have gotten a photo of the coke bottle exploding, that was pretty cool. The neighborhood kids that stopped by seemed to have some fun as well. I never did find out the score to the basketball game. Who one? Thanks to all the people who helped make this event a success.

No Meeting April 29. Cancelled due to other activities

April 30, 2007 6 pm meet at my house if you are between 3-12 years old for the Family fun Night in Monroe.

Parents night a success

Thanks to all those who participated in the parents night out. The kids had a blast. Friday, April 27, 2007 BBQ from 5-7 pm. Bring a side dish. We need drinks, chips, veggies, and etc. I will be making hamburgers and hotdogs. April 28, 2007 from 4-8 I will be at Blues on the Beach and hope some of you can join me to support the church handing out flyers and chips. Wear your youth shirt. See you there. Ms. June

Friday, April 20, 2007 Parents night out

Time to prepare for the big night.
Thanks to Emma who went shopping with me and my kids to pick up the supplies.

Be at the church at 6pm to help set up. I will arrive at 5-530.
We will be setting up the stations
1. toss across
2. craft (birdfeeder)
3. Reading area
4. Movie area
5. food area
6. Entrance table (with sign up sheets and data)
7. game area

We will need one person per area and depending on the kids two per area.

Norris Lake Presbyterian Church Youth Group Recycling

Help us to help our environment. With the planet changing, more people, more trash, and more Carbon Dioxide in our atmosphere we have decided to make a conscious effort to help improve our future.

Our planet is in our hands, please assist us in helping ourselves.
You can bring your items to the church and place them in the bins behind the youth trailer.
We will be recycling the following items:
Bin 1 = News Paper
Bin 2 = Telephone Books
Bin 3 = Aluminum cans (please crush them)
Bin 4 = Plastic soda/water bottles
Bin 5 = Magazines

Once a month we will be transporting the items to the recycling center in Duluth on Satellite Blvd. Anyone who wishes to assist (those with pick up trucks are really welcome) please see June or any youth member.

Easter Weekend

I hope you are all having a wonderful spring break and looking forward to a wonderful Easter. Since we have not been able to have a meeting since I was out of town last weekend and Easter is this weekend. Saturday night we will be going to a movie at 5 pm. If your interested we are leaving at 4:45 from my house to go see Meet the Robinsons. Please come join us if you can.
